We started out as a picture framers in Dorset, hand-crafting stylish frames using high quality archival materials. Framemaker Simon Keyte and graphic designer Jennifer Newbury have over four years art and design training and are passionate about the creation, presentation and protection of artwork. We’re very excited to be moving to Frome and its innovative arts and culture scene. In addition to our picture framing service we are now offering a complete range of artist services: we can print, frame and install your work, ensuring a consistent quality. If you’re organising an exhibition or event we can design posters, flyers, invitations and catalogues. Our consultation service allows us to work closely with clients to find the best solution to your needs.
Simon Keyte has a BA (Hons) from the Arts University Bournemouth, where he studied under David Hazel. David instilled in Simon an ethos for meticulous precision at all levels: from developing and producing artwork, to framing and installing it. He started professionally framing in 2011, and in 2013 he opened a small gallery in Gillingham. He’s passionate about supporting and developing the local community and environment. Simon has been Vice Chairman for Sowing Seeds Local Action Group, and he has volunteered for conservation groups such as Butterfly Conservation and Dorset Wildlife Trust.
Jennifer Newbury graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2007, where she studied photography, as well as visual communication and design. She has worked as a freelance graphic designer since 2011. Jennifer is also a writer and visual artist, and several of her stories have been published or won awards. In 2014 she won the Bath Spa Porthleven Prize, which led to a residency and a touring exhibition. Jennifer is involved in literature development, and is the co-founder of Dorset’s hippest writing group, Storyslingers.
